Get Safe Online week! 15th to 19th November 2010

This week our friends at Get Safe Online are hosting Get Safe Online week.

Sponsored by the UK government and private sector organisations with a stake in online security, Get Safe Online is promoting online safety to consumers and businesses through competitions, events and PR activity throughout the UK.

The objective for this year is to get YOU to take just a small amount of time out of your week to find out more about how you can stay safe online. It’s a small thing to ask and could save you a lot of time, money and aggravation by preventing you from falling victim to malware, spyware, viruses and scams.

How can you get involved?

Bloggers and webmasters can show their support by displaying the “Friend of Get Safe Online” logo (just like the one at the top of this post) and linking back to Get Safe Online at http://www.getsafeonline.org. To download the logo, right click it and select “save image as”.
