This is a variation on the “DHL Failed Delivery” but the attachment is the same – A banking Trojan designed to harvest your details. Delete the email immediately, do not open the attachment under any circumstances!

  • I have received something similar, purportedly from “Shop Manager Neal Mercer” at Amazon.com. The message states:

    Goodafternoon!

Thank you for shopping at Amazon.com
We have successfully received your payment.

Your order has been shipped to your billing address.

You have ordered ” Dell Latitude E6500 ”

You can find your tracking number in attached to the e-mail document.

Print the postal label to get your package.

We hope you enjoy your order!

Note the grammatical error “in attached to the”,etc.and the elision of “good” and afternoon”.

  • I received such a scam email too, but is from postal.office@amazon.com
The interesting thing is neither AVG nor Ad-aware could detect the virus/trojan
